This weekend we concluded our inaugural Attaining Self-Mastery course. We are so grateful for and proud of all of our Self Masters - trainers and participants - for doing the deep and transformational work of self-mastery over these last 5 months (and moving forward into the future). The work that they are doing not only impacts their lives, but everyone around them.
A question we’ve discussed throughout the course is - how do you create profound changes in your life? And it was brought home this weekend with a teaching from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras….
Heat is produced by taking action. This heat and activity transforms stagnant, inert energy into peace, calm and bliss. In order for this to happen, one must practice yoga/ meditation with consistent effort, for a long time, with enthusiasm and devotion.
This is why we practice daily. It’s why we offer the 40 day challenges, the Sadhana Huddle and the GLaM group on Facebook. They give you the consistency, you just need to bring the effort! Through a 40 day practice, you’re building your endurance to practice over a period of “a long time.” Connecting with others helps you keep up and borrow from another’s enthusiasm and devotion when yours is waning (it happens).
We started a new 40 day challenge yesterday. It’s not too late to start today! Click here for the tutorials and practice videos. No matter where you are in your journey, these practices will create a spark of transformation within you. All you need to do is feed it with your daily practice.
