Make the commitment

Jul 06, 2021

When you’re ready to make a change in your life, it can be exciting and even a bit scary. The emotions you feel prompt the change and motivate you to take action. What happens when the feelings aren’t so strong? Motivation wanes, you lose the excitement. You’re creating new habits so it takes effort to stick with them.

What you do during this time is powerful and simple.

Make the commitment, and stick to it. No matter what.

When you make a commitment to yourself and stick with it, you prove to yourself that you’re worth it. You show up for yourself, even when you don’t want to. This practice elevates your self-worth and confidence. It becomes easier over time as you gain momentum. You become a person who follows through on her commitments. Which means you can continue to elevate your commitments. Because you matter.

We recommend starting with the One Simple Breath. Commit to practicing it for 5 minutes every morning and 5 minutes every evening. That's a ten minute per day commitment. Stick with it for 40 days and notice what shifts for you.
