I have some questions for you, which I am hoping you’ll pull out your special journal for and take 2 to 3 minutes (set your timer) to write on each of these questions.
The idea is to write in full stream of consciousness. Come to your (nostril) breath, let go of your monkey mind by moving your attention - your observations - to your body sensations and directing trust into your hand and pen to answer these questions. Drop the thinking and editing. It’s okay if none of it seems to make sense to you. Just write with abandon. Let what comes out on paper surprise you.
Get your timer ready: 2-3 minutes with each question, and begin.
- …you followed your desire to act on your dream(s) first every morning rather than begin the day with what’s “on your plate”? What would happen to you? How would the Universe learn from you?
- …you followed your desire to say something that’s stuck in your throat, that’s dying to find expression through you in some way, instead of holding it down so as not to make waves? What would happen to you? How would the Universe learn from you?
- …you followed your yearning to step forward as your most authentic self rather than as your habitualized, normalized self? What would happen to you? How would the Universe learn from you?
