How do you respond to challenges?

How do you respond to challenges?

Be the kind of person who dares to face life’s challenges and overcome them rather than dodging them.”  Roy T. Bennett

This is why you practice yoga and meditate. It’s why you get up early.
Starting the day overcoming challenges gives you confidence that you can do hard things. And you get to take that with you for the rest of your day.

It’s practice
Practice challenging yourself on your mat, so you know you can challenge yourself off your mat, in the world.
Practice putting yourself under pressure, so you know you can withstand the pressure.
Practice being (mental & physical) flexible, so you know you can bend, but you won’t break.
Practice strengthening your nervous system, so you can quickly return to rest & digest after experiencing a stressor.
Practice working with your breath, it’s your lifeline. Connecting with your breath when you’re challenged helps you slow your thoughts and activate your neutral mind so you can respond, instead of react.

We created the Sadhana Huddle to help you start your day with practice. All you have to do is Love Your Life and have others to practice quietly with on weekday mornings… you don’t even have to turn on your camera. Savitree will guide you through breath meditation, mantra meditation, and gentle movement. You can use this to set your day, to start or end your own personal practice, or even as a way to help you get up by 6 and do your own practice during the huddle.
It’s a community practice created to support and inspire you.
Use it to serve you the way you need to be served.
